The entire project was inspired by industrial multidirectional wheel designs. The benefits of multi-axis travel in the heavy equipment industry would aid agility, mobility and maneuvering around smaller obstacles like cars or barriers.

Early ideas for evolving and customizing the vehicle's architecture included a drop-in driver's cab for optional manual control of the vehicle and increased aerodynamics.

The model was taken to rendering multiple times during it's development using Unreal Engine. different environments, materials and colors were used to visualize the model and determine the impact of small design changes. The environment and locations shown below became the backdrop for the final animation, and the images on the bottom became the benchmark angles for the final front and rear renders.

After settling on the main design direction, the design of the heavy-duty bumpers and steps went through several iterations to appear as utilitarian and tactical as possible.
